Furan-2 says to do a 25% water change after the 4th dose followed by carbon (presumably to remove it).

What do you do if you did a combo of Furan-2, metroplex, kanaplex and copper power? Can I do the 25% water change and leave what's left of the Furan-2 in there the remainder of the 14 days?

When I use this combination I treat continually for at least 10 days. Furan-2 can be dosed daily, the kanaplex/ metroplex should be dosed with the Furan-2 every 48 hours after a 25% water change.

Make sure to add the copper power to the new water before it hits the tank to avoid copper fluctuations.

Hi all

I run a low does of cupramine in my fowlr. Today I noticed my flame angel and also my regal with cloudy eye.... I added Kanaplex to their frozen food 2x today. Anyone know if I can also add Furan 2 to the display tank as well or shall I stick with Kanaplex in the food? thx

I would suggest a FW dip to check for flukes. A cloudy eye is a symptom of flukes. Why are you treating with copper? What other symptoms are you seeing?

Never ending velvet so I’m always running a small dose to be safe I do plan on ending this practice soon but the fish with the cloudy one eye was also beginning to flash on the rocks and one of its fin looked a little turn up

I can use prazipro again but both fish have only one eye with the symptom

One cloudy eye is a sign of flukes, along with flashing. If you are going to run copper run it at therapeutic levels, a continuous low level can create copper resistant parasites.
