We were told the coral at the top of the video is a Platygera but I didn't see any photos online of Platygera with tentacles like this. The "body" is light green and the furry tentacles are brown. Overall it is probably 4-5" across. Its movement is very appealing and we are happy we have - but would like to know what it is!

HI,can you post a couple of still pics, poss close to closed up,and open, :)

i'm thinking in hydno family???

interesting, i'm almost leaning towards a kind of hydno as well. closed up pictures and close ups will help tremendously

We are all looking at the same brown and green coral in the center of the vid?

Agreed though, we need a pic of the tentacles closed up, and a little closer would help.

Thanks for looking at the video. I googled images of Hydnophora and agree with you. Jason Fox and WWC show frags that are similar. Some Hydnophora are branching and some are encrusting. Ours looks like a puffy, round pillow. When I googled images I came up with a R2R link of a member asking the same question. Posts 7 and 15 show photos that look like our coral.

Hydnophora it is!
Thanks
