I got the lights to work through the breakout box but they are not very bright. Ground to ground then red to the next slot. It was on but stayed on.

DO NOT TRY TO POWER ANYTHING WITH THE BREAKOUT BOX.

They are inputs to measure when a switch like a magnetic door sensor or float switch changes state for use in other programming. If you need to power something, use an EB8 outlet for 120VAC or a accessory port (LinkA or LinkB) for 24V devices.
