Has anyone on here switched from an Apex to Profilux and if so, what are your thoughts on MyGHL cloud software compared to Fusion? I keep flip flopping between buying the Apex and Profilux 4 and I like the Profilux 4 but looking at the demo of their cloud software, MyGHL looks awful. This maybe unfair but it does not look ready for release and it does not seem to display well or even recognize it is running on a phone or tablet. I can't see any graphs of data but is this just the demo version? For those with a Profilux, what does the cloud software look like for you and what are your thoughts on its features?
Many thanks

I haven't switched, but I do own GHL products, including the profilux. I never use myghl. I use the control app 90% of the time. Then use GCC the rest of the time, and myghl only when I'm away from home.

You can port forward the app to use while away from home, but hopefully GHL will make the app accessible from anywhere in an easier fashion in the future.

I think fusion is probably a little cleaner/nicer currently, but I see that GHL has made a significant effort to close that gap. If this was the only criteria for making the decision, then Neptune is probably the winner right now.

For me it was the rock solid stability, dosing options, and the momentum I see building (at least in my eyes) for GHL, that helped me make that final decision. The looks of GHL equipment didn't hurt either.

Many thanks for your reply. I love the look of the Profilux 4 and it's reliable reputation. I have also seen a lot of improvement in the software but it still seems to have a way to go. I won't be using port forwarding and only the Cloud software so for me, it really is cloud or nothing. I wish GHL would put a roadmap up for their Cloud software as I would buy their product in a heartbeat if I new some of the issues I see would be fixed!

I agree, I made the switch to GHL for the stability and engineering of the product. Yes, the Fusion software is nicer to look at , but MyGHL lets me do what I need to do and provides ample enough data graphs. I would say the Germans focus on the stability and function of the hardware, with the pretty eye candy being secondary. I simply had enough with failures and glitches in the Neptune platform.

Grab an adult beverage and get reading. THIS is the thread you want

Ignoring the underlaying functions fusion win hands down on design, and when I made the decision I was about to go with apex cause of the interface. But GHL has made a lot of improvements over the last months, also the internal webserver. I have the feeling they are phasing out the old GHL Control Center for pure online control (I have no idea if this will happen, just a non educated guess). The GHL interface is based heavily on regular bootstrap setup. Maybe if GHL allow us to add a custom CSS/JS file we could include a custom interface
