I've got a Fuzzy Dwarf, had him for over a month now, and I've noticed that during feeding time he'll only ever pick at small food items like mysis, brine and frozen squid/scallop I ran through a clean coffee grinder off the bottom of the tank. Never touches actual chunks of food unlike my marine betta or greyfaced eel. I've witnessed this guy eat mollies whole (live feeder to entice eating), so I know the chunks are the right size.

It's a decent variety, and I'll soon be adding selcon to my feeding, so nutrition shouldn't be a concern, but I'm just wondering how I can get him to eat meatier foods, simply to make feeding time go a bit faster as my current schedule is extremely busy and I don't always have time to wait while he eats individual mysis for 45 minutes.

Not related but some of our pets require time and attention, if you don't have even 45 mins to dedicate to your pets maybe it's time to rethink a few things.

I feed a varied diet of pellets, frozen and flakes. My clown happily takes frozen shrimp and pellets just fine but truly struggles with flakes. I insist on these as they are nutrient dense and are great for for his metabolism and overall health. I sometimes wait over an hour for him to get 3 flakes down (he's a little special) but I recognize I got a special case clown and must treat him as such. Salty tanks in general are time consumers specially when dealing with special case fish or inverts. There are no short cuts when you're delt this hand. You wouldn't rush a dog with disabilities when it isn't eating fast enough would you?

That's entirely fair. Unfortunately my schedule has been shifted around considerably due to this corona thing, ironically having more to do now, so I should have more free time once everything settled down.
