Fuzzy little sacks

I can't describe what these are but look like egg sacs of something. Sorry for shots best I could do. I currently found 4 of these on rock work in 20g cube. A guess I have is some sanil egg? I never added trochus snails but I'm noticing where I had 3 tiny ones now I have about 7 or 8. Looking to id these to make sure nothing bad.

While good, they are not really carbon filters in that they appear very quickly will die. We don’t quite know what it is they do or the reasons why they appear and die off.

will this cause fluctuations with ammonia and such as it is die off? Should I keep an eye out in case they all start dying at once?

Nope, they won’t cause any water issues.
