R2R team,

Needing some help here.

Tank has been running for around 9 months now. I’ve gone through the usual diatom bloom and even a dino outbreak but this stuff has me stumped. Although my inhabitants are happy and thriving this stuff is everywhere and a major eye sore.

Maintenance wise I do weekly 10% changes with RO/DI. Only media I’m running is floss and skimming. No dosing, using RedSea Coral Pro salt. Nothing else. Salinity steady at 1.025. Po4 levels below 0.5 and nitrates read 5-10 ppm.

I searched the forum and found similar results but no definitive answer. Any advice is appreciated.

I have the same issue as well. I blacked out my tank for s week and it cleared up. Tank looked good but it keeps coming back. I’ll be following this thread to see what this is.
