Picked up a fuzzy dwarf lionfish about 3 weeks ago and its an awesome fish, I'd dare say its like a dog for people that want a dog but don't want a dog. I walk in to the room and it instantly unperches and swims to the front of the tank as if to greet me, the only problem I have with it is it likes to spit water.

Mine used to spit water at me too! Coolest thing ever, your right they are very much like dogs.

I've only had one instance of concern with its spitting, it was feeding time so I gave it a some frozen food and it wanted more faster then I could get it, so it starts spitting saltwater all over the place including on my controls for my 55g which were quickly moved. I keep a lid on the tank at night due to the scorpionfish's attempt at carpet surfing one night, glad I heard him flapping about, so I don't have to worry about stepping in a puddle in the mornings lol.

Had one of these for 4 years before I moved and had to sell him. One of the most personable fish I have ever owned.

I have to agree, my clowns swim to the top of the tank at food time, any other time they are doing their own thing. The fuzzy is interactive with me from the moment I walk in the room, even if it is just begging for food.
