yeah, armageddons seem to be VERY scarace this year.....about 2 years ago they seemed to be more available for some reason.

but ALLOT of people like myself, haven't had good success with them for some odd reason. they melted away on me, but it took like 4 months for 2 polyps to finally waste away. they just slowly started to look worse and worse.

Maybe they're more in need of dirty water. Like a non-sps tank. I know Pnoy had a hard time keeping them as well.

that would be my thought also, but marvinsreef couldn't keep them either......and he has by far the best tank for them. red wines even flourish in his tank.

Well I have had Armeggedons for going on 3 years. They grow and I frag, they grow and I frag and they seem to be the most healthy of all I have honestly. I even did a test on my only frag where I would cut the stalks to try and improve growth.

I really think the ones I got are just from a super healthy strain..For example I got a frag of 4 polyps from somebody else and they slowly over the course of a month melted away while my orig frag is very healthy. The last frag I cut seemed to have stunted it's growth but after looking last night I can see where it;s starting to bud again. Also a local reefer friend has kept a frag of mine with success for several months now and even going through a semi tank crash has kepth them alive.

I think I'll sell mine as mutated super arms and charge 100 a polyp.

Just kidding trust me. Seeing all this makes me realize that they are very scarce so I want to get them out to people for backups and to just share this healthy frag.

I have a small list right now for people in line so when I fill that I will start another new one and let you all know here first.
