ive just got my first skimmer a aqua one G216

The pump with it sits below the unit meaning the tower leans forward...

Any recommendations on how to heck to fit it or should it be like this?

It looks like you can install it two ways.

To me the hang on install should make it level, by their guide.

could you glue (or wire tie) together a small eggcrate box, to level it out?

I'm really shocked at how difficult it's been to get this sump to stand up, while it 'floats' in the water the waste container falls as as it's banging against the side of the sump knocking it loose. Given it's a packaged system with all products being from the one manufactuer I would have thought it sat together much easier.
