G5 or Sky?

If you were purchasing new lights. Would you try the Sky's or go to G5s? I'm on the fence and can't decide one way or another.

G5 - you can dial in 8 different light spectrums as opposed as to only 4 with sky.

But the control on the Radions isn't a positive. It's a negative unless you have a spectrometer and know exactly what you're doing. We've been conditioned for years that sliders and control were a good thing. That couldn't be farther from the truth. Pick a preset and leave it alone! You will have far better success this way

That's literally what I was reading this aft. Hard to get unbiased reviews. This industry is terrible sometimes

I’ve learned my lesson trying to go the cheap route in this hobby. But If my wife asks, I only spent $200 on those G5s

A lot use them because Ecotech gives them to them. I'm not saying they don't work, my G5 Pros were good lights, but you have to remember the sponsorships that go on in this industry

Can’t decide either. Love the panel style and that trend with the industry to get less shadowing. But Radions are proven as well.

I have had Kessils a360x, Radion G5s and now Sky. I like the Sky because of the color it gives the tank, the integration and the large size. Owning them (not going off of online interviews), IMO the build quality is as good or better than comparables.
