Anyone have any recommendations for a GAC reactor that can run the ROX carbon??? I have an undersized BRS single reactor for my 180g system that clogs up in 2 days. Looking at Geo's Reef reactor but not sure if the small particles will leak through. Any other recommendations are welcome.

I run ROX in a Geo's Reef reactor and I change it out every 2 weeks. I run 3/4 cup of ROX in the reactor.

How much carbon are you putting in the reactor and how much flow are you running thru the reactor? For it to clog in 2 days you might need a reactor with a larger body or try running less carbon.

Less than a cup. Way too little for my application. Anyone ever use the Avast spyglass system???? I love the way it looks, but scared it may grind up the carbon.....

I use the full size BRS dual reactor and just fill both. Only time it has clogged quickly is when I was playing with NOPOX dosing - but even the filter socks clogged from that.

Ur filling both of the Dual reactors up with Rox carbon??? How big is ur tank??? I was under the impression that about 250ml of ROX would fit my requirements for a 180g system..

In regards to the NOPOX, I havent gotten any bacterial blooms or cloggy socks yet. I've been very deliberate with slow dosing so to not have an outbreak of bacterial sludge. The flow issue has been since day 1 of me running the reactor. Started out as a dual reactor running carbon and gfo. This clogged all the time. Ended up splitting them apart and running one in each of my two tanks just for carbon.

Well just picked up a spyglass to run the rox.

Only 120G and I don't run much flow through the reactors, just a little bit off the return manifold. Lately I've been going without altogether and will probably only use it if things get smelly or something bad happens.
