I downgraded to this tank when I was having troubles with pest in my 125g sps tank.i used all new rock and sand dripped all corals and cleaned any equipment that was being transferred. In doing that is of coarse stripped all nutrients and bacteria and the tank crashed.I lost most of my acro's and inverts except my rbt anemone and fire shrimp.all fish survived. It's now been alittle over a month and three weeks and the tank stabling out color is coming back to the surviving acros and im starting to enjoy the hobby once again. There are around 20 different acro's that survived the crash tough little guys.On another positive note I have no hydroids, aiptasia, majano, acro eating spiders, acro eating flatworms or any other uninvited guest.Im will not be buying any new acro's until the back of my tank is covered in coralline algae but that stuffs has been growing very fast and I think I will be good to go in about 3 months.
future plans :apex, calcium reactor, reefbrite strip but im gonna wait alittle while before I spend more money on this tank since I just lost so much.
