I recently acquired one of my favorite macros, a Galaxaura species, from Gulf Coast Ecosystems. I've had it before, but with little long-term success. Any tips for care? I recently upped the whites, reds, and greens in the AI Prime running over the tank. Tank is 5 gallons (I know).

Any updates? I just got a nice clump and would love to get some tips for cultivation.
Tank is overrun with algae (not the good stuff) due to more work hours and my general laziness. Some of the galaxaura seems to be alive still underneath, but I'm probably gunna try again in a larger tank. 5 gallons is too much instability in my opinion.

Did you experience positive growth with any particular regimen at any time that you've had it?
I've only had it a couple times. First time it didn't last long (tank was fairly new, too new) and this time it was living well, even attached itself to the rocks, but I just didn't have time to keep up with the maintenance on such a small tank as of late. I just did semi-regular water changes with a good reef salt (coral pro) and upped the white and red lights on my AI Prime.
