I got a galaxea frag with about like 4 head or polyps and it’s like about the size of a dime. How long will it take for it to grow into a big colony??

There are multiple variable that may affect the growth rate of a coral frag. Off the cuff guess polyps might double every few months.

Depends on the exact colony and water/light conditions.

IME, Galaxea is probably the fastest-growing LPS if given the right conditions (I heard Duncans can also grow fast). Mine started with 4 large polyps on the plug and now has 8-10 reasonably sized buds in about 5 weeks and is already growing off of the frag plug. I'm kinda worried this thing will take over.

All depends on tank parameters such as alk, level, light level, amount of nutrients and feeding, etc.

To give you a frame of reference, I added a golf ball sized frag about 12 months ago and it is now about the size of a large egg.
