Depending on where the flow takes the sweeper tentacles yes. They are pretty aggressive and the sweepers get really long.

It's a lovely coral just look for a place where he can't sting all sorts of corals around it.

this is maybe a dumb question but can it sting other galaxeas or like Euphyllia that also have sweper tentacles? And this also is the case for hard corals as in sps right ?

Yes, Galaxia is very aggressive. It can and will kill most other corals. Sweepers can reach up to 12". Years ago I put some on the back wall of my tank which had a agracrete back wall. I couldn't get rid of it without removing the agracrete back panels. I used a small chisel to chip it all out, missed some and a few months later I had a 6-8" section again. It looked awesome but any corals in front of it on rocks were stung to death. So eventually I had half of the 75g tank with Galaxia on the back wall and a stack of rock and a few corals on the other side until I upgraded tanks. It will win a fight with a torch, hammer, most other corals. I had debated using gsp instead but fell in love with the galaxia and at the time was told it was a better choice as it wouldnt grow like gsp and possibly take over the tank. They were right and wrong, It didnt grow like gsp it grew faster and it did basically take over the tank more or less.

It cannot sting other galaxeas. But it will sting everything else till it's dead. The sweepers on mine get to be about 5-7inches.
