How come so many people are afraid to keep galaxia in their tanks? It is arguably no more dangerous to its neighbors than euphyllia is a hammer or torch will run out long sweepers and sting its tank mates also and people know to just give it some space. However when you ask a lot of reefers if they would like a frag of galaxia you get a quick "no that's too aggressive". Would someone have any insight into this to help me understand the fear.

IME my galaxia had much longer sweepers and was much more aggressive than any of my euphyllia. I had to get rid of it due to the size it grew to and not being able to put any coral within a one mile radius ;Dead

This one grew to the size of a soccer ball and spawned two more that were baseball sized. Probably the nicest coral I ever had. It had sweepers that were almost 2 feet long but plenty of other coral grew in its vicinity.
