Wanna throw it out there to Daniel s. of Sandwich IL. Meet up locally and he handed off his lighting after going fallow.

Every aquarium has a lifespan and each a story.

Breaking down his rig I’m digging his cord management and looking at ways to level up my my diy DT canopy.

I’ve been running a 6” xho blue reef brite, 2x5’ t5 over a standard 125 gal. I’m hitting 200 2/3 on center, 150 1/2 par/height.

Looking to add 4x5’ t5 and/combo 4’ xho reefbrite.

I’d had a few beers when I was writing this last night so excuse the incoherence… been a long weekend.

Yeah, just giving props. Guy obviously put a lot of thought and work into it.

Going to update once I’ve got these new light fixtures incorporated into my system.

If there’s a question here it’s this:

I have this to work with-

3 2-bulb 5’ T5 fixtures
1 6’ xho reef brite blue
1 4’ xho reef bright blue
2 4’ standard reef bright blue

I’ve got 16” width to work with. Should i incorporate all the T5’s and the 6’ reef brite?

Should I try to include one of the 4’ reef bright units and only 2 of the t5 sets?

Tank is a standard 125. I’m currently hitting 200par on center at 3/4 height. It drops off considerably front to back and at the bottom. Currently only running 6’ reef brite and 1 t5 set.

It’s an lps dominant tank but I’m trying to work my sps back in (they’ve been living in my zoa trough after my move last year).
