Garage Sale loot mystery controller

I hit a garage sale Friday and was going through the massive loot I came home with and I came across this apex controller. I’m having a hard time figuring out which one exactly it is, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

That is the original Apex, now known as the Apex Classic.

Great, I was thinking it was the classic but every picture I found of it had a new style controller box . Thanks very much!

The only difference between that one and the newer Apex Classic is the label, which changed to the orange & white labeling several years ago.

That energy bar may be toast, but you can repair it or get new ones for not too much. Still an excellent find for a garage sale.

Yeah, I planned on taking the energy bar apart and see how bad the inside was before using. Are the accessories backwards compatible, I.e. the probes and accessories?

Everything is backwards compatible as far as I know except for the Trident, when ever that releases.
