Well it has been a year or so since I have had a tank up and running, the basement remodel is complete. The last thing is new carpet and baseboard which should be going in and on the next couple of weeks then it will be time to setup the tank again. I have started gatherer some things needed and putting together an aquascape from dry rock so it has time to cure since I am using quikwall to assemble. Here are a couple of boring pics of an empty tank and some rocks.

Not boring at all! Nice tank and aquascape!

Alright I made some more progress on the scape today. I am not sure I am 100% happy get I put a little rock in the middle and was thinking of running some more rock up there but haven't decide what to do to finish it off yet. If anyone has suggestions I am open to them.

I like it. Very interesting. Only thing would be lack of hiding spots for large fish, but there are tons of holes for the little ones to sleep in.

alright I think I am almost done with this aquascape. This is going to be mainly an SPS tank so I feel like I should have some ample space for a reefer 170

time for some updates. I redid my equipment stand, it is not the fanciest out and I won't be showing it off but I feel that is is practical and should work out ok. I had to go with white unless I wanted to special order black. I am holding the panels on with magnets. Now on to the pics.

Ordered all new filters and a membrane for my RODI to get this tank started off on the right foot. measured my TDS and out of the tap I was at 397 and after running it my ads meter read 001. Ran some fresh water and now mixing some saltwater to start getting the tank wet.

We are wet finally, I am excited since it has been a while since this tank has been running and no leaks which is a very good thing. Here are some pics

Nice! I have a reefer nano with a small ikea cabinet beside it. I also went with the vittles vault for my rodi top off water. Its working out great soo far! I even put a 1/4 inch push connect bulkhead in it and rigged it up nice!

I love the size of the container the only thing I don't like is not being able to see how much water is in there without removing the lid.
