so ive read an article online sayin that garlic in fish food only helps w immune system in fish but does not kill ich, but garlic in direct contact w ich kills them. theoretically could i dose garlic to my tank? as like a secondary measure to lets say polyp lab or ich x i was just curious and didnt see this anywhere. i was thinking if one did have proper qt tank or maybe even the main if dosing the polyp lab that the garlic would be capable of effect in their free swimming and beggining latching phases as their not yet buried into the skin yet. again just curious :)

The only thing I have found garlic useful for is to entice finicky eaters into eating and that is not even guaranteed to work.
Agreed! My picky butterfly loves him some garlic! Great for that!

I disagree about uselessness of Garlic-it does add flavor to grilled meat!

the problem is you say no w nothing data based saying so, meanwhile i find articles with actual data saying otherwise. which makes me question the legitness of ppls word on here. im just lookin for the why or why not w something to back up their answer not to see whose hopin on the bandwagon

This is not exactly the same question as yours, but somewhere along the same lines, very interesting read.

What data have you seen that shows it to work?
