I make my own food and I heard that garlic was an amazing anti pest immune system boost for fish. Is this the case for inverts too since the food ends up in their mouths as well.

I heard you just soak the crushed garlic in water and let the juices soak in to it and then add the juice to the wet food mixture and freeze. Is that correct?

I've never tried making my own but there is garlic available for fish, Kent marine makes some. There have been studies done that linked long term garlic use to liver damage in fish so most people use it sparingly, usually to help get picky fish to eat or to mask the flavor of medicated foods

I just buy the liquid form. It's more expensive of course but so much easier. And I'm not really sold on the immune system enhancer. I think more it's an appetite stimulant there in by enticing the fish to eat and helping him stay strong

Garlic has long been touted as a potent parasite killer for single celled organisms and worms. Whether that's true or not is somewhat unclear but assuming that it's true it would by proxy boost the immune system by reducing strain from parasites.

Theoretically..
