I just came back from vacation and it seems my ATO was not functional, or barely functional, for most of a week. The return pump has been sucking air and spitting micro bubbles into the tank for several days. A tang is dead and some other fish (angelfish, anthias) seem to have gas bubbles in their fins. I believe I heard this was a possibility from gas supersaturated water but have never dealt with this (honestly wasn’t sure it was a real thing). I have stopped the source of microbubbles but is there anything else I can do? Does anyone have experience with this?

If they’re just oxygen bubbles, I’m sure it’ll be fine. This is a strange case. I’d wait it out.
