There's a gas leak from a condo building next door to mine. Roads are shut down in the area.

I am not home and can't get home at the moment to check the tank, but what are the likelyhood of the gas leak causing damage?

I have one window a crack open in the bathroom. all other windows are shut tight.

Do you use carbon? If so then possibly it will be fine and I dont think there will a lot of gas around.

The gas utility and fire department will disburse the gas pretty quickly. Gas will also do this on its own. No worries here.

Speaking as someone who works at a utility, if it's natural gas, it fills the room from ceiling down. If it's propane, goes from the ground up. Honestly, the amount "entering" your tank is probably so negligible it won't effect anything. it would take a huge leak or really long exposure for the gas to be diffuse into your tank. Natural gas is non toxic in humans (just takes up the space in our lungs that is usually filled with normal atmosphere. when you're moved to an area where the gas is no longer present, you'd be completely fine,) so I doubt it would do anything to fish. Corals... I'm not so sure.
