i remember a bulb that was out at one time not sure if it is still or not...
it was a mh bulb that was 10k and 20k and fired one day 10k and the next 20k kinda like 2 bulbs in one i guess.... anywho with light acclimation being so important what's your thoughts on running a 10k for a week then running 20k for a week etc etc etc??? i have both and there both new and was thinking about swapping them out every so often to get the best of both worlds great growth and great color....but im thinking maybe it might stress the corals to much being that it is in a different enviroment thats changing weekly...has anyone tried this??? whats your thoughts...

if you want the growth go with like a 10k or 14k with atinics. i heard 14k phoenix look pretty decent alone almost..

ive been using 2x250 watt 14k phoenix for 2years now.my corals grow like weeds and look great

ya i know the deal with bulbs but i got mag ballast "old school" still so im rocking xm bulbs which actually go into overdrive with these m58 ballast... im just wandering if it would do more damage than good swapping the bulbs periodically???

Troy i bet that would throw your corals off if you did that. Consistency is the best way to success in this hobby imo. You know this man : )
