I got some badly browned out red hornet polyps from a friend that are still a while out from being colored up, Heres the original thread:
https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/f39/halp-frag-id-41907.html

I only have enough shipping stuff to do two packages, so i figured Id let two frags out cheap given their current condition...it'd also help give me a reason to get more styro boxes :xd: $40 plus shipping (ill need zip codes for USPS overnight)

The shipping supplies are tentatively spoken for, so the remaining frags are now pickup only till I get more shipping stuff. I will let you know when i pick up more shipping supplies (hopefully this weekend!)

It has been over a month since you got them and you were waiting for them to color up. Can you re-post a new picture of them. I am not so sure those are RH and I don't want any members out $40 PP for something that isnt the real deal. Hope you understand and thanks.

Dude, I'm pretty sure these are organisms fake red hornets he's been giving away on other sites while talking ***** about the real hornets and everyone who owns them. There is a bunch of BS about it over on NR... there is actually a whole little DA/RH bashing clique over there that are very tightly knit.

I smell BS.

hard to tell. From the original pics they look like sick or faded red hornets. I don't have enough info on them to be more specific but I do have 2 small colonies of the real red hornets and they don't look like mine. Maybe lighting or water quality is an issue, so an updated picture of them healthy would prove otherwise.

FYI I've fragged my RHs over 10 times and not once have they lost any color on me ...that goes for both frags and colony....

Thanks all for the interest, Ill get to your PMs before the end of the day when i get home

This goes to show that the real deal typically don't lose their colors. If anything, under higher nutrient tank, they should color up even more!

Z's and P's can loose color due to stress, which fragging can bring towards the polyps.

lol, whoa guys, chill with the hostility. Im just going on the responses I got in the original thread, Im not a villain sitting in the dark trying to swindle anyone. Though...the thought of wearing a top-hat, cape, and having a big moustache does sound pretty cool...

heres what one looked like back whenever it was that i got them. So its taking a while, my system isnt as ideal as most... I havent checked my phosphate levels in ages out of fear  If you dont want em, dont buy em, but the unabashed shots at people's character probably isnt needed
