The tank has what I believe are white hydroids. From everything I read they are bad, but I have seen posts about the white ones diminishing after fixing a "dirty" tank (to much nutrients which I have had issues with lately.

This was the first picture of the tank before I moved it to my house. Everything was in perfect condition.

I have two clown fish that were small when purchased 4 months ago. They got along great for the last 4 months. The two in the last five days were really dancing around a lot more than normal. The bigger one (female) has since in the last two days has become aggressive to the very submissive male, tearing up his fin and causing some scale damage. She has been so aggressive that the male will float at the top of the water and she will continue to peck at him. I have since introduced a holding net in the tank, but did not put the clown in it. Doing so has seemed to change behavior - at least temporary taking the aggression out of the female. (I have heard changing rock scape may do the same). Any suggestion on what to do now?

Just a short update. Changing the rock work calmed the clown aggression down. Also helped with the addition of two other fish. They Kenya tree has taken off, dropped branches (after it closed up for days and I thought it was dying) that are now growing into new Kenya trees. I'm having some issues with algae on sand bed so I'm sure I'm feeding the fish too much. It's a deep sand bed, at one year now so I hope I can get to equilibrium. Just not sure how much I should be feeding 4 fish and how often.
