First post. Been doing salt for almost 7 years now but got my first GBTA 2 weeks ago. Here is a pic when i first added him to the tank.http://i.imgur.com/iy7XPwH.jpg

The second day I had him in the tank he decided to situate himself under neath my main rock in the tank and only part of himself is exposed to the lighting during the day. At night he goes back completely underneath the rock. I feed him twice a week and he is very sticky and shoves the food right in his mouth. My clownish have even brought him food to eat on occasion.

Should I be worried about him not getting enough light? He is in a 40 breeder under 4XT5HO with all ATI bulbs. I figured that was right on the edge of enough light but he is acting like I have to much light over the tank.

Thanks

It is most likely just getting adjusted to your tank, flow lighting and params. If it still has color and is eating actively I wouldnt worry too much, as it will move itself to where its comfortable and understand that BTAs generally move around a little more than other nems, but usually once they find their happy spot they dont move too much. It looks good from the pic, just keep it fed and make sure nothing it annoying it and you should be good.
