GBTA and actinic lighting ONLY?!

I am curious to get input on how well my GBTA will do under actinic lighting ONLY for a few days and then acclimate her, yes her (hehehehe), back up to the whites. I am trying to get rid of GHA, what little bit I have before it takes control. OR any suggestions on how to get rid of it? I know my coral will be fine as I do not have many, one is an NPS anyway. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

The lighting I have is two LED hanging a foot from above and they are made by Lightimetunnel.... These babies are BRIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!

You can do a full blackout for several days with no problems.
And you can also add the actinic only to help it along before or after.

As far as the gha, it probaly won’t knock it out entirely. But might give you time to do some removal scrubbing and water changes.

If it’s a younger tank and getting out of control, you can try some fluconazole , the miracle drug.lol.
Honestly , It actually works and effected Nothing else in the tank.
It’s not an algeside, just effects thin skinned algae.

And the blackout won’t affect my GBTA? It isn’t a young tank, I bought some more live rock a few weeks ago and failed to inspect it properly, I guess...... It’s not very much and this issue started after adding the live rock. I’ve never encountered this problem, but I know it can spread quickly. I’ve already taken the piece out and scrubbed it and just did a water change today.

Even a week or more would be fine. There are longer stretches of cloudy weather in the wild.

You can feed it some mysis if it’s not completely hidden during that period.
