Hey y’all so my anenome is officially dead. All tank parameters are stable and I removed it pretty quickly. As I touched the foot it just ripped into pieces and I hardely touched it. I am not sure what happened. I never captured a picture. Although it was upside down for 2 days, 3 days it came apart from a fish or some snail movement. The tips were still nice and bright green in the light! Thoughts?

All tank parameters being stable is difficult, sometimes things just don't make it despite everything being perfect.

If I have sufficient lighting for zoas and GSP you think that could be the problem? I only have 110 watts

I am on RBTA #3, my params have been stable at each attempt, the first 2 lived for a month and slowly died, third one has reached almost 12” in diameter. A healthy specimen goes a long way in maintaining health, the third one I introduced was a local pick up and fairly large when I got it

My key to keeping anemones has been a very long acclimation starting with the temperature acclimation first. I float my bags for an hour to get the temp adjusted. After That, I drop the new nem into a "solo" cup and float it in my filter sock compartment. That keeps the cup warm. Then begins another hour of drip acclimation at 1-drip per 4-5 seconds.
