Hey folks,
I’m going to QT a flame back angel and a juvenile clown soon, and after they’re done I’ll do a group of (5-7) chromis (at once to try to maintain peace). I have a Marineland Portrait 5 gallon and an extra RW4, but I think I’d be best served doing a TTM process.
My LFS is World Wide Corals but I want to do a (14?) day Hybrid TTM and then a 2 week period for observation or other treatments.
I know I’ll need a second tank and two heaters, but is there anything else I should have in mind?
Secondly, is a 5 gallon too small to be effective? I know I’d need to do frequent water changes but that isn’t an issue. Space is an issue though because I’m doing this in an apartment.
edit: Third question. If I stay away from copper and bleach one of these tanks after going through fish QT, followed by a dry period, would it be safe to use for an anemone quarantine?
