Gem Tang Bloated Stomach. NEED HELP

Wow I am perplexed but following along. I hope for the best!

Wanted to update everyone. Tangs bloating has gone down quite a bit but he doesn't seem interested in food.
Seems like he isn't doing as good as he was he was bloated. Less active (not swimming around much). I'll keep you up to date

Came down this morning and the gem tang had died overnight. i appreciate everyone's input.

How's your tang? I would try feeding nori's, not a lot.. but if it starts peeking at the nori's it's bound to defecate sooner or later, Md hopefully that will start to get the swelling down.. also, how were the water parameters and your QT tank? I might even do a small water change. Remember he came from the ocean, to the collector, that to you, that's a lot of moving in a short period of time.. it can't hurt.. good luck, hope he's doing better.. those gems are expensive..

Very sorry to hear this. :(

I don't mean to hijack. Why should you not feed red nori?
Not that you shouldn't feed red nori, but it seems to cause gas in certain fish. Or I had this one PBT who would get all bloated every time she ate it.
