Gem tang not eating - found on powerhead

On Thursday of last week we brought home a beautiful Gem tang. Pretty instantly my purple tang became aggressive so we quarantined him so that the Gem Tang could get acclimated. She still seemed standoffish and hadn’t attempted to eat at all. Today is day 4 and she ended up stuck to the powerhead. We have placed her in the segregation box inside of the tang but we don’t know what else to do/try and I really don’t want to lose her. We have tried to feed Rods, nore and nore with garlic all with no luck. Please help!

I think the segregation box was the best idea, and would limit any more changes as that may just case more stress. I have never met a tang that didn't love Nori. I would continue to periodically offer Nori to the tang and maybe try a pellet based food as well.

Outside of not eating how is the fishes respiration and overall appearance? Do any parts of the fish look discolored and do its fins appear damaged or frayed from stress?

How about qt? If you haven’t done that then it’s probably sick

Adding a rock with macro on should help it wants to graze and have some shelter.

Poor fish is stressed badly. It's probably exhausted. I'd highly recommend setting up a QT tank for that beautiful fish to recover. A 20 would be a minimum a 40 breeder would be much better. No lights on, some floating plastic aquarium plants for cover. Good high quality foods and vitamins.
