I am getting a couple tangs from a friend tonight, and would like to know if I can mix a 5" purple tang and a 7" gem tang(yes gem, this guy used to work at a lfs so he got his with a big discount), I have a 3" scopas tang already in there in a fowlr 125, will the scopas be okay? Theyre similar in sizes but are different colors.

Good luck, it may work or not. Have a plan if it doesn't. I just added two yellow and a purple to a tank with a longtime scopas and a newish small sailfin. The smaller 4" scopas went after one of the yellows hardcore. Once i saw the scopas actively nipping at the yellows fin, it had to go. I figure long term the scopas was gonna kill the yellow.

That scopas will be super aggressive at least in my experience. I dropped in an older purple tang i had into my 240 tank that had a scopas and sailfin.... That scopas bullied the purple so much it constantly hid.... I quickly removed the scopas after seeing the aggression not dissipate after a week.

I would take the Scopas out and rearrange the rock work. Then introduce them all at the same time. But like others said. Good luck all three are the same Zebrasoma.
