I just wanted to create a thread to let everyone know what I discovered because I scoured the internet and couldn't find the answer.
I spoke with Ecotech and confirmed that the older style rail kits were still compatible with the new Radions even though they only talk about the RMS rails in their marketing info. I already had Gen 2 Radions hung with this short rail kit and didn't want to spend money on an RMS rail, brackets and hanging kit unless I had to.
In order to make this work, I did have to replace the screws in the end of the rails to 12mm length rather than the 16mm long ones supplied with the kit. I was able to purchase identical stainless steel ones at my local ace for $0.99/ea.
