I have been waiting and waiting and waiting on getting some new lights because I want the radion blues, but there were so many issues at the beginning that I decided to wait until it all got resolved. Are people still having to fix their own cases and are there still wifi issues? Are there other issues I'm not aware of? is it safe to buy these yet? I purposely posted here as I dont care to have an ecotech marketing reply. I want real world replies.

Was about to say my experience got good to worst, until a recent update I guess, the app Mobius seem to work well back now on my phone (previous patch was doing worst and worst)
No it seem to work very well!
The crack thing was on the first couple batch I think, was resolve quickly I think?

I just got 6 of the G5 XR15 pro's and they've been working great. The app was easy to set up and so far no issues with the lights. I know some people say the fans are loud, but so far I haven't noticed them at all.

I have been running the G5 Blue for 3 months. So far so good! No issues of broken shipment like the some other. The fan is a bit louder than my old AI (heard the new AI is louder too). I believe it has to do with the fact that all manufacturers are upping their wattages. It's just physics.

It has no WIFI, only Bluetooth.

It connects directly via BLuetooth from your app. No router is needed. You just need to turn on Bluetooth on your phone.

I haven't had any problems with XR30 blues what so ever.

Ok, similar to the way Hydra was but they had built in wifi on the 26's I am using. Not a huge fan of how they did this. Bluetooth sounds better. Thanks for the reply!

We just received three G5 XR30 Pros and have no problems.

using the pros, app is ok now. I fried a few frags . My electrical bill seem to have increase. Still doing trial and errors to find the right intensity and program. Oh... I bought them locally. I was given some part to replace cracked back case. It took some time, that is a shame at this price level.

thanks for that! I asked a local shop about getting me some. Hopefully they can get them faster, otherwise Marine Depot it is
