Hello I am trying to figure out how many gen 5 xr30 I can out on a dedicated 20 amp circuit. I could not find what the power factor for the lights. I see there is a max inflow surge of 4 amps at start up. At 205 watts that averages around 1.8 amps per light but I am not sure how the power factor will influence it. I dont think I will ever go over 50 % intensity. Thanks for your input. Eric

If I remember electricity correctly Power=Voltage X Amps. Surely a 20 amp circuit is good enough. around 2000 watts, so at 50%, around 10 xr30. Please double check those facts

Thats what I was thinking. I wasn't sure about the line where it stated max of 4 amps inflow.
Thank you proxy001, after a few days I had given up for replies. Eric

The inrush current is the power supplies not the lamps. This only occurs when power is initially turned connected and lasts a few hundred milliseconds at most.

Thank you Acanthurus Rex. I had not thought of the power supply being separate.
If I put 7 lights on a dedicated 20 amp circuit I should be well within a safe margin then. Thanks Eric
