Gender of a clown fish...

Hi
I have heard so many things about clowns
1st- when they born they are all male and after growing some of them turns to female ones.
2nd- the largest one becomes female for pairing up
3rd- if these are true, I have 4 clown, 3 of them are at the same size, how can I find out which one is male or female???

They are born sexually immature (neither). If left alone with no other clownfish, the fish will become a female and get larger.

In a group, as they mature one will become the dominant female and become the largest of all (takes 12-24 months usually). Chances are your group is still establishing their social hierarchy. Provided you have a big enough tank they will eventually establish a social order of 1 female, 1 male, and 2 juveniles (sexually immature).

If the clowns are new to your tank, then you will have to wait a while for one of the fish to become dominant. The female will start growing bigger than the rest of the fish.
I can only assume that when you say 3 of them are the same size that the fourth is bigger? If so that will be the female.
You may also have to remove 2 of the fish after the male and female pair up. The pair will become very aggressive towards the other 2 and may kill them.

In my tank 2 of the clowns are always stick together
Where ever they go or sleep.
They attack the other tow sometimes.
Isn't there any specific sign of their gender?? Like many other fishes that the male has a dot or special thing on the body???
