I had a 12 gallon Nano Cube from them about 15 years ago. It was a good, solid product then. I never had a need to contact them, since nothing on it (lighting included, PC's back then) ever gave me any trouble. I ended up leaving it with a friend when I moved out of state.

I can’t remember exactly, but I believe they were once called Custom Sea Life. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

CSL had tons of issues.

I had their 28g nano cube. Never had a problem with the tank but a few of the LEDs went out. I got pretty good with soldering in new ones.

I, and a number of people on this forum, are running the JBJ 45 with no issues. Seeing this scares the hell out of me though, especially since I’m one of the ones with the curved glass (older model) which is what’s shown in your pics.

All I can say is Yikes

It's taking me months of dealing with them to get appropriate compensation. Still waiting on the replacement lights. Just found out the crash also resulted in some electrical problems. The link destroyed the stand also, as it soaked through the wood and the hinges, in trying to stem the tide.
I have now a replacement JBJ Rimless, Flatpanel 65 Gallon from them with stand. In the boxes on a Flat.
Debating selling it or setting it up. They had a known problem with the curved 30 JBJ and the 45 JBJ from a manufacturing standpoint. A lot of reported failures.
Dealing with them has been difficult. I am finally winding this down after nearly 4 months. They still are delaying sending me the replacement lights.
Does someone local to CT want to buy a new in the box tank? That's my great debate now.
Where would I post equipment, tanks for sale?

Sorry for all your troubles. Me personally if I had an experience like that I’d sell the new tank and buy a Red Sea or other top of the line aquarium.

There’s plenty of places to post for sale. Your local reef club, Facebook marketplace, Craigslist, reef2reef has a equipment selling forum. I bet you could sell it pretty easy.

Thanks for the input.
It's a nice tank, a good value. But I'm concerned about the company and their attitude towards their customers and their
difficulty getting cooperation and support. Their warranties across all their products are the shortest in the industry.
Wish I did more research when I was entering hobby.
