Anyone have a better technique for getting General Cure to fully dissolve in the water prior to adding to the tank?

I mix it in a beaker with a mag mixer - 10 minutes mixing. Tried several speeds. Tried tank and RODI. Regardless what I do I get the white particulate in the tank water column that within 24 hours is putting white dots all over the fish. Then run filter pads and do water changes usually makes the dots disappear after a couple days.

Someone find some magic that works? Strainer during addition?

I have a couple plastic and nylon tea strainers from amazon that I dump the GC into, then work it through the mesh with a plunger from a 3ml syringe. I strain it onto a piece of letter sized paper (organically sourced repopulated forests and chemical free) then into an old pint gelato container half full of qt tank water. Put lid on, shake to dissolve, then pour into the pump section of the hob. Any left over particles get into the filter and dissolve with the running water in a few hours. Never seen any particles in the water column of the QT

I add GC into the HOB filter so the particulates get caught in the sponge while they dissolve.
I know a little Vodka will get powdered Prazi to dissolve better. Might work with GC also.

Vodka will work but it’ll exacerbate an algae bloom if you use too much.

It is a form of carbon dosing, after all.
