General Cure plus protein skimmer

I’m getting ready to use General Cure on my QT. I’m curious if anyone knows if I can run a protein skimmer at the same time or if this would interfere with the medication concentration, etc? Thank you.

Likely it will make your skimmer go wild, so turn it way down so the skimmate is no longer reaching the cup, and just use the skimmer for continued oxygenation during the course of using the General Cure.
