General cure question

Going through qt atm. My 10gal tub sprung a leak, lost confidence in this so replaced with 8gal. Use clear plastic tubs and the 10gal have awful mould injection points which have pin prick holes, 8gal are much better. My question is im due to dose gc in a few days. Will 8gal be ok with a whole packet making prazi 90mg and metro at 300mg or should i try sort another 10gal just for this treatment? Dont really want to be weighing and splitting a packet.

Fine. I’ve done a whole packet with 5 gals, no issues. Be sure to do a WC and redose in 8 days.

By my maths this will make the water 2.5mg/l prazi and 10mg/l metro. I do have 2 wrasse in the qt

While that is a small difference, I would say it depends on the species. The only time I have seen gc be a problem, is because of an overdose. That is a 20% difference, there's also displacement, my lions or scorps would not tolerate it.
