Hey team quick question on General Cure. I’ve searched the forum and cannot seem to find the answer on how long the fish have to be in the second dose before treatment is done with general cure. Is it two days or another 5-7 days after the second dose they should be finished? About to do a 30 percent water change and administer a second dose so any help would be appreciated.

It can be a good idea to "observe" for 5-7 days after the second dose for prazi resistant parasites. Then do the water change to remove residual meds and observe for 5-7 more days. Nothing good happens in this hobby quickly.

Agree, should clarify... after the 24-48 hours flukes *should* be dead, and if it’s needed you can do a water change. But after any treatment at least 2 weeks observation is recommended.

Just to clarify: Is it 'dose... 5-7 days later dose again... 24-48 hours later remove through water changes (and maybe carbon) and continue to observe?'
