What's the Parr range that most sps do good under? I'm trying to figure out the best placement for mine.

100-400 depending on species, and if you want to stay as is or grow, from what I have read.

Would be cool to have some common names of sps and an approximate par range that they prefer. Would need someone with healthy colonies and par meters though!

Correct me if im wrong. Leds run different par levels then metal halides

Yep, and different types of LEDs run at different acceptable PAR levels. PAR is a measurment for horticulture lighting. The PAR meter is not capable for compensating lighting levels at different depths in saltwater.

It is okay to track on an individual system, but when you compare the PAR numbers to other systems then there will be many different variables to consider. You would have to get these PAR numbers from someone who has the same exact set-up (lighting and tank size) as yours.
