So-recent ice storm that cut power last night in community-power coming back today and by sat

made me thinking-i should have a generator for my tank-those that have ourchased-what have you gone with-looking for simple vs involved solution

Try this below if you have Ecotech gear. I can run my MP40 for ~40+ hrs, even if I’m not home.

For extended power outage and if I’m home, I will fire up the Honda 2000i generator.
 
Wen inverter gen. You’ll find it on Amazon. $400. Gallon of gas lasts 8 hours. Small, light and quiet. Inverter gen is good so it doesn’t fry any of your electronics.
 
My Honda 2000i is similar - an inverter type. However, it’s noisy! Also, you need to be home to fire it up and run extension cords. Ideally, I would prefer solar + a Tesla powerwall for the whole house but that’s way too $$$
