I am trying to plan my tank and I was wondering if there was a generator that could somewhat help you determine which fish to add first based off of aggressiveness. Something where you could add the fish to this generator you've picked out and it would calculate the aggression of each fish and give you a list of the best order in which to add them to your tank. Does anyone know if this exist or not? If so can you please provide a link? Thank you.

Back in the early 1990’s I wrote a software program called Aquapro. One of its modules was a fish compatibility calculator. It was tough to use because the size of the fish also enters into it, and then, fish are individuals and some are passive while others go rogue.
You can develop fish lists and post them here for people to weigh in on.
Try to always have a plan B when mixing fish!

I would be interested in seeing this program in an app that you could download to your phone or computer. With free software like unreal engine, you could add pictures of the fish or even 3d meshes and allow users to custom design the tank size and build their aquariums with excellent visualizations and see their aquarium on screen as they plan it out. Not sure if you know c++ or not but ue (unreal engine) also has easy to use blueprints of codes that you could put together an app pretty easily if you still have all those numbers. I think it could be an app that people without aquariums could enjoy. Kind of like mindcraft but with fish. Would also get more people interested in doing a saltwater tank as well. I would think you could get sponsors pretty easily to help with something like that. That is if you still enjoy doing stuff like that.

I know there is a compatibility chart on live aquaria

Funny - I went to my safe deposit box last year, and I still had the source code on 3 1/2” floppies stored in there! I tossed it out though. It was written in xBase and I am not a programmer, so the code was junk.
I think with AI, these sorts of questions may be more easily answered in the future.

Awe man. That sucks. That's got my head rolling with ideas but don't want to go too deep into it. I just wish I had those numbers. Accuracy is never gonna be perfect in real life but it can always give you a good direction.

SW fish are complicated. People here will help you.

A foxface and a tang may be fine together or hate each other and fight to the death. We can take best guesses for you but it’s always hard to say. Tank size, food, swimming space, tank length, other fish, can all affect how they treat each other.

True, and a risk some are willing to take for the beauty of those 2 in an aquarium. It's interesting that you use those 2 fish for example though because I am planning on adding the flame and kole to mine. Very hard for me to decide which to add first and if it really makes a difference. However, if it's 50/50, maybe the smaller of the 2 should be added first. Assuming that bigger might be the boss when 2 are of equal aggression. Would that be on line with possible facts?

Actually, adding a foxface, flame, and kole

Probably in that order. So, if anyone has had experience with this order, and can remember what size they were, that would be helpful.
