Please be careful if using a gas or propane powered generator. The exhaust is toxic and must be ventilated properly to avoid carbon monoxide poisoning. It's sad to see these local news reports of people making tragic mistakes:

I honestly feel horrible for all the reefers that are dealing with prolonged power outages. So many people are dealing with the stress and disappointment of losing fish and corals due to power failures. It's one of those rare situations that many people don't plan for, but has such devastating consequences. Hopefully these reefs will survive, but if not, hopefully people will put plans in place for the next big storms. Wishing the best of luck to all of you.
