Has anybody heard of this product or are actually using it themselves?

It seems to be a great idea but pricey. I feel if I hook the pumps up to 65g reservoirs and had it do small daily water changes + ATO it would save me a bunch of time and energy. In the end making the cost worth it. Also, If you do use this product for water changes each day would you still have to dose 2 part and other supplements for a reef tank?

Any ideas or opinions greatly appreciated/

If your in Lakeland, FL, I'm not too far south of you. Come by and check out my water change system, all I have to do is make sure my saltwater tank is full and I'm set. 1g waterchanges daily and no problems yet.

How long's it been up?

Did you see improvements in water quality or coral growth since you began daily 1G water changes?

Been running one for 3 weeks now and I love it. I did not buy the storm (ato) module. I went only with the renew.

I am already running a tunze osmolator ato controlled by my apex coming on every 4 hours on the hour for 10 min. I have the renew changing 1 gal every 4 hours on the half hour with a 2 hour differential from the ato. Only a restart after a power outage could potentially align them and given they each run for 10 min this is pretty unlikely.

There are some pretty sweet diy rigs, but man was this simple to set up. I was up and running in 30 min out of the box.

My only issue was I bought their eheim pumps and the head room from my salt mix to the fill container is 8' and it was filling too slowly. There is an internal time limit to fill each container and sometimes the eheim made it, sometimes it didn't. This throws an error and pauses the cycle. I had to buy a slightly stronger pump. The drain pump is 2 ' higher and has no issues. So, check your heights before you go with their pumps.

One other thing of note, I used braided nylon hose and I had to use a lighter to soften the hose to get over their fittings as well as the pumps. That was a bit of a struggle, but those things are not coming off. I still used hose clamps though.
