I been running the IceCap reef 30 klir combo for about 2 months. It was very challenging but after a lot of work and support from CoralVue it has been working like it should for about 3 weeks now you can find the details here:

Just Finish installing the sump plumbing wasn’t too bad. I use lots of unions to make it easy.
I am running a COR 20 at 60%

Any updates on how you're liking the GEO sump?

Was the assembly of the AFR hard? Can you actually take the clarisea out of the sump for a deep clean every once in a while or is it built into the sump?

Variant sorry it took me so long to answer your questions.

1. Was the assembly of the AFR hard?
No assembly of the AFR was very easy less than five Minutes.

2. Can you actually take the clarisea out of the sump for a deep clean?
No it is build into the sump but the area is huge and it can be easily clean with out the need of taking it a part.

I want to apologize for the late Update.
there is no comparison between the Geo Automatic Filter Roll Sump Vs IceCap Reef klir Combo, it is a night and day differents.

The GEO System.
Pros: it is a set and forget system, it captures 99% of the dirt, very little to no dirt on the bottom of the sump, very quiet and it can handle 2000GPH with out a problem.
Cons: The Fleece is a lite bit more expensive and it last less that the Klir but it is worth it.

The Klir System.
Pros: Coralvue customer service is great, they replace need it parts with out any problem, fleece is cheep and it last about two months
Cons: Takes a lot of tuning. it only captures 60-70% of the dirt and you get a lot of fine dirt on the bottom of the sump that needs to be clean at least ones a month. and it only handle 600 - 700 GPH.

How many GPH are you running through the Geo system? You said 2000 gph no problem?
