GEO CR612 X2 Calcium Reactor

A little help please. I have no clue about calcium reactor as I am getting ready to setup one that was purchased (GEO CR612X2) for my Red Sea peninsula 500. I alway see people using the 2nd chamber for smaller media. Can, larger media, same as media in main chamber be used in 2nd chamber or would I have to use small size media in 2nd chamber? I am planning to use Reborn larger media to run the reactor. Thanks in advance

Nice rxca, The second camera in theory is only to recover a little co2 and raise the pH, you can use any type of media, although the manufacturer will recommend some especially to avoid blockages in the effluent, greetings

thanks a lot. I have some left over crushed corals, maybe it can be used in 2nd chamber.
